For the Love of the Plot
May. 6th, 2008 12:04 amTitle: For the Love of the Plot
Series: Transformers G1
Table: Emotion
Prompt: 9 - Love
Character(s)/Pairing(s): Starscream
Word Count: 430
Summery: Starscream tries just about anything to overthrow Megatron and become Decepticon leader, so you might ask where he comes up with his crazy ideas.
Disclaimer: I don’t own Starscream (I wish I did), Megatron, the Decepticons, or Transformers; they are owned by Hasbro.
Notes: I wanted to do the emotion table for the simple reason that I wanted to practice writing emotions properly in my fics. As I looked through the emotions table the one emotion that was giving me a hard time to tackle just right was love. With the OC restriction and the fact I just can’t write a slash fic for the life of me, it left me with a big burnt out light bulb when I came to ideas for this emotion. Till another TF fic (WIP) gave me the title for the fic and then my light bulb in my head got fixed. Anywho, to make a long story short, who ever said the emotion love had to deal with just people. ;)

Stomping into his quarters and throwing a data pad towards his desk, Starscream leaned his back against the closed door as he sighed in annoyance. Today was another long day for him, too long of a day. He shared his ideas and opinions to deal with the Autobots with Megatron and all of them were shot down before they were even considered. "Aarraahh!" shouted Starscream in frustration as he pushed himself up from the door and walked to his energon dispenser for some high-grade. Starscream practically ripped the cube from the dispenser as he lifted the cube and coldly glared at it. "Why, I ask you, why? Why does he always shoot my ideas down before my ideas have a chance to evolve and bloom to fruition?"
The high-grade didn’t answer. Taking in some cold air into his intakes, he slowly walked to his desk and sat down. Propping his feet onto the desk, Starscream folded his hands around his cube and started to look at it again. It wasn’t fair. He did have some good ideas once in a while and when one of his ideas was executed out on the field, it usually worked. But unfortunately Megatron was never around to see them work and when he was around… well, Starscream’s ideas ether fall short or never got used.
Tilting his head back, Starscream started to stare at the ceiling. Day in and day out; the same damn vicious circle that always seemed to keep repeating itself over and over again. He was starting to get a headache because of this. "So what else is new?" Starscream grumbled to himself. As he stared at the ceiling, Starscream’s mind began to wander and he started to look at a shadow above him. There was nothing unusual about the shadow, but for some odd reason it caused Starscream to tilt his head slightly and then that’s when an evil smile slowly started to crawl on his face.
"Of course…" he quietly snickered as he lowered his feet from his desk, grabbed a blank data pad and started to scribble notes on it. "Ooo, yes, this is good. This idea is very good." As Starscream wrote his latest idea the more excited he seemed to get. He loved being in this mood, his sensory circuits slowly heightening to a pleasantly hot tingle through out his body. His energon pump increasing in speed, the ever increasing emotional energy surrounding him, his mind wandering to the darkest and cruelest of places. This was Starscream loved most about plotting against Megatron…
The power trip!
